Cog Systems has a long heritage in designing and implementing ‘hardened’ mobile devices for select governments. The company leverages their D4 Secure Platform™ to develop software for specific categories of connected devices. D4 Secure SDKs™ protect organizations and their users with an unparalleled level of data and system security without sacrificing the flexibility to run any application – safely and securely. The company launched the HTC, Secured by D4™ in February. The device is currently in use by the U.S. Department of Defense and is the first virtualization-based smartphone security system to be certified on the U.S. Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) list.
The D4 Secure Platform running on HTC is the first cybersecurity smartphone solution to be listed on the NSA’s Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program that uses virtualization, which the NSA has only required on more powerful devices such as PCs and laptops.
